Dear Colleagues,
We are happy and excited to invite you to the 7th International Symposium of Turkish Computer and Mathematics Education (TURCOMAT-7), which will be hosted by Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University Faculty of Education and organized by the Mathematics Education Association and Turkish Journal of Mathematics Education (TUJME) in Antalya on 01-03 November 2025.
TURCOMAT symposiums, which have become traditional in the field of mathematics education and educational technologies, turn into a feast of knowledge where up-to-date information, experiences and approaches are shared with your contributions every two years. The exchange of ideas and projects in mathematics education will undoubtedly lead to the emergence of new ideas. As we have all seen in recent years, artificial intelligence has become indispensable in all aspects of our lives. As artificial intelligence develops, new questions such as “Can there be a mathematical model of the mind?” or “Can there be a mathematical formula of thought?” have started to take place in the focus of information mathematics, which forms the basis of modern computing systems. As mathematics educators, we cannot remain indifferent to such questions. Therefore, we have determined the main theme of our symposium as “information mathematics”. We will explore all aspects of mathematics education from a new perspective in the warm and friendly environment of Antalya with your participation.
As in previous symposiums, the 7th International Symposium of Turkish Computer and Mathematics Education (TURCOMAT-7) will feature new developments, trends, research, and discussions in educational technologies and mathematics education. The symposium will be held in Turkish (including Azeri, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Uzbek, and Turkmen Turkish) and English. Additionally, there will be 60-minute presentations of graduate theses or research projects under the title "Comprehensive Research Studies" along with posters and 20-minute oral presentations. The scientific committee will review each study submitted to the symposium by at least two expert academicians. Turkish Journal of Mathematics Education will also prioritize original papers presented at the symposium after the review process to be published.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to the world of science with your professional experience and your studies by attending the 7th International Symposium of Turkish Computer and Mathematics Education (TURCOMAT-7). For detailed information, please surf the website.
